Turkey extends trade with Latin America
Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade has prepared a Project for Entrance to the Latin American Market, which aims a sustainable increase of trade volume with the countries in the region.
The Undersecretariat previously released a Strategy for Improvement of Trade and Investment with the Latin American Countries in 2006.
In order to extend Turkish firms’ market share in the region, trade consultancies are envisaged to be opened in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba in addition to the consultancy in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A group of Turkish businessmen also plan to pay a visit to Uruguay and Paraguay in March, Venezuela and Nicaragua in April and Colombia and Peru in May.
